Given 2008-06-03

~lukavi manages to make fine digital pieces with a distinct feeling of storybook illustrations; he creates very unique characters and has equally unique representations of existing characters in his gallery. Like another deviant has pointed out, his illustrations have a dreamy quality, achieved by the warm tones that blend the characters perfectly with the simple backgrounds, the subtle linework, the fluid painting. Your works are so soft and dreamlike. It's like if you saw things and painted them in your sleep :) This one in particular has that feel to it. The colors, the figure, and of course the beautiful clothing, all of them tells the viewer that this is not a scene from this world. It belongs to a place where only sleepers and dreamwalkers may enter and pay the ticket to view the act of balancing on a single Behemoth's hair :o
