Artist's Comments

OUT-WORN heart, in a time out-worn,
Come clear of the nets of wrong and right;
Laugh again in the grey twilight,
Sigh again in the dew of the morn.

I like the insectoid cup and the neat detail of the bird/wyvern. It is as though it is being sacrificed in a bloody cup and transferred through the magician into, perhaps, his illusory birds. The magician here through does seem a little weak due to his tiny wrists, but perhaps that too is an illusion. The magician is one of my favorite tarot cards, perhaps only second to the high priestess. :)

The secret to my happiness is I have the heart of a 12 year old child. I keep it in a jar over there. Want to see it? - Old Vaudeville.

Go see May I Help You? . You know you want to..

lovely. i see all the traditional elements... minus the pentacle. but i think you totally make up for the missing pentacle with birds. unless i'm just not seeing it. you've have a great take on the past two, and i look forward to seeing the rest! (any plans to market them as a set? i love my traditional Rider Waite, but a change would be fantastic.) ^^

The serpent reminded me of this beast in the game Pikmin called a Snagret, it's a snake body with the head of an egret, and it eats up you Pikmin army real quick if you aren't careful when battling it.
